Mainstream Education:
Exim Dance can facilitate before and/or after school dance wellbeing sessions as well providing in-curriculum sessions across all 5 levels of Education within the UK; Early Years, Primary, Secondary, Higher Education and Further Education. We provide students with an understanding of physical and mental wellbeing, whilst building confidence, resilience, and independence. We can also offer bespoke teacher development programmes with the aim to share knowledge in using dance as a tool for educational and social change within the curriculum.
We offer our bespoke services across multiple educational settings across Plymouth with high levels of pupil uptake. Exim has a highly skilled and diverse cohort of practitioners, that are all enhanced DBS checked and receive regular training to support all our work.

Our Dance & wellbeing services work alongside the Key Stage dance specification as well in line with Social and Emotional Aspects of Learning. We will teach students fundamental movement skills, balance, agility, coordination, verbal and nonverbal communication of ideas and emotions, team working & problem-solving. We will provide young people with the opportunity to flourish and feel valued; in line with Ofsted specifications.
We aim to create a safe and therapeutic environment whilst learning about how to stay healthy and about emotional/mental health, positive relationships and applying these mechanisms to their lives.
