Social Hour for young people in Plymouth
A group for young Plymouth residents to come together, socialise, de-stress, chat about their day, and gain peer-to-peer support in a safe and non-judgmental environment.
This service was originally set up when Exim provided virtual services during the Covid-19 pandemic. It has since become a popular and effective addition to our real-world weekly schedule. Young people aged 13 to 16 (up to 25 for those who identify as disabled) are encouraged to speak openly and honestly when sharing their experiences, suggestions, and ideas.
Sessions are FREE and run weekly alongside the academic term at Oxford House Creative Hub.

‘I come to Exim because they support me as LGBTQ and I feel happy here. I want to help with pride and also mental health in our community.’
Tommy
‘Going to Exim makes me feel happy, and I’ve learnt and grown so much. I come every week because Exim is a big part of my social and physical life. Overall I am so thankful and I love Exim.’
Ruby
