Hi I’m Ellie, I was born in Plymouth and am currently a third year student studying Performing Arts Education at Plymouth Marjon University. I’m training in ballet at Hartley House Dance Club and have been for as long as I can remember and I’ve also recently become a member of the ‘Fuse Diverse Dance’ company ‘Young Rebels’.

At the moment I’m a student teacher, teaching ballet, tap and jazz to children and young people at Hartley House Dance Club as well as choreographing routines for their Star Performance Company.

After I graduate next year I’m planning on travelling to America and possibly Asia to experience new cultures and work with a variety of different people. After travelling I would like to complete a PGCE in primary education or become a full time dance facilitator and practitioner.

I’m really excited to get involved in the amazing workshops and training opportunities that are offered as part of the ‘Making Waves’ project. The project also brings a unique chance for me to expand my teaching experience with new styles and students. The ‘Making Waves’ project is really amazing and I’m really looking forward to becoming a better practitioner/facilitator with the support of Exim Dance.”
